13/09/2021
For the second time now, the ACT Government has approved the extension of learner licences between August 2021 and January 2022.
The goal of this extension is again to assist learner drivers with reaching their goal of independent driving. Given that people have been unable to attend driving lessons or leave their homes due to lock-down, the ACT Government has approved this measure as a means to lessen this impact.
If you are a learner licence holder, it is our understanding that Access Canberra will send you a letter advising you of your new expiry date and that ACT Policing will be able to verify the new expiry date via ACT’s Licence and Registration system.
In which case, you can just focus on what matters, booking courses and planning for your goals.
